Our fun run is one of Hunters Bend’s two biggest fundraising campaigns. Unlike our fall INVEST campaign, we encourage families and students to collect pledges for the laps they run at the end of the fun run campaign. They will be eligible for prizes along the way.
WHAT ARE THE DATES OF THE CAMPAIGN?
February 21 - March 5, 2025
WHAT IS THE GOAL FOR THIS YEAR?
Our goal this year is $50,000 and 100% of our Hound Dog families participating.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE FUN RUN CAMPAIGN?
Our fun run takes place Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. Families are welcome to watch their students and the 5th graders will have a special color run.
WHAT PERCENTAGE OF DONATIONS GO TO THE SCHOOL?
The fundraising platform collects 15% of donations, but by using Donors Choice that money goes towards our school AND by paying with cash or check no platform fees are taken into account.
IS MY DONATION TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, your donation is tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt for your records.
CAN MY DONATION BE MATCHED BY MY EMPLOYER?
Hunters Bend Elementary PTO is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This means there is a good chance your employer will match your donation. We suggest you reach out to your employer to ask what is needed for company matching. (Additional information may be found on our Company Match page.)
